Perhaps this information is nonsense to share but when I was new here in Abu Dhabi shoe repair was quite a challenge. For women, our most common issue is the repair or replacement of heel tips as it easily wears out. The shoes are generally in condition except for the heel tips.
Two years back, I moved my accommodation near HSBC Bank in Airport Road. Luckily, there are small shoe repair shops nearby but I would say quality is not really that good. They do the repair manually and my new replaced heel tips do not really last that long.
Going in that area for shoe repair only is not really worth the trip. In the evening, it is nightmare because the area is congested and the traffic is bad.
Then last week, I went to Marina Mall for some office related errand. I stopped in a shop called “Minutes” which is located just opposite of the check-out counters of Carrefour. Minutes is known for rubber stamp making and that’s the reason I dropped by.
While waiting, I discovered that they do various repairs like watch and shoe repairs. I have not tried it yet thus I cannot vouch for the work quality but I am really glad to find such shop inside the mall. It is very convenient and accessible.
