Hi Ashley,

From what I heard from my friend who also requested for payment structure, yes, they will require 2 months payment and security check. Just make sure to get a clearance letter once your completed the payment.

Cheers

Hi Cyra;

Currently I'm having tough time in paying my debts with HSBC so they started on calling me since I missed out some payments or even that Im paying but it is less than the due amount, now I requested if they can offe me some sort of payment plan coz I'm really having problem with my finances now, so they gave me a payment structure which is quite helpful for my budgeting but it is still upon approval once I paid 2 months equivqlent of my monthly fee then a security check... is it really part of their requirements? coz from the blogs that i read in this forum it seems that they are only asking for 2 months payment and thats it they can go ahead with the procedure.

Hi Cyra,

Thank you for this website. It truly helps a lot to the people.
My boyfriend is having the same dilemma with regards to his credit cards. Although, he did communicated with 3 banks for the payment plan, there is still one bank that he couldn't pay for because "sobrang wala ng natitira sa sinusweldo niya." But recently, the agent of that bank (collection/recovery department) keeps on calling him saying to settle certain amount (which is affordable enough) and my boyfriend will be released from his dilemma. My question is......if we settle the amount that has been requested, what document/s should we ask from that bank just to make sure that my bf is free from all his debts to that bank and thay they will not put any ban or hold departure order when he leaves for a vacation?....Thanking you in advance and waiting for your reply.
